Although Rock of Love is total trash, I have to wonder, in the midst of a writers strike, how the producers and Bret were able to pull off the ultimate O’Henry-ish trick ending in the episode “Stroller Derby”.
Wherein it is revealed that Aubrey and not Christy Joe was set for elimination.

Alert reader Christine told me about a little show called 30 Rock and sold it with a retelling of a joke about tote bags. I find the show consistently amusing in a way that makes me go “ha!” I’m sorry the Aaron Sorkin show about a similar television show stunk up the place.
