Thank you, pair of Clarks, that I wore every day for the last year until they turned into soft, archless slippers. You’ve been replaced by sensible and borderline geriatric Rockports. Also, on the first night wearing them out, I stepped in dog doo.

I was there this first night of wearing of the Clarks. I also recall someone got their bag peed on in the park. It was a night for the dogs! And MacGuyver picnic antics. I saw a shard of plastic cup make for a great surrogate cheese knife.
I heart Rosstralia and his devotionals to the seemingly small and insignificant.
