The day it was too windy to play tennis

This is an entry about Pizza with 1 comment

As of late, a good chunk of my Saturdays have been spent with Young playing tennis at our country club. However, this weekend we decided to slum it and play at Dolores Park so we could watch all the cuties walk by with their fixies. Cruel cruel Mother Nature had other plans for us and created a localized tornado in the tennis courts, turning our usually mellow game into a balls everywhere fiasco.

Also, I was getting used to new sunglasses and had little depth perception.

What to do when things get too windy? Eat pizza.

Delfina was eager to help us meet this need. The best course of action was get it to go, since eating in the park was a better option to dining in the coffin-sized pizzeria. And dine in the park we did after a half-hour wait. But what is a half-hour wait during Pride?

Pizza from del Fina

If I had to nitpick, I would only ask that the crust be a little bit more charred for a smokier taste. Also, I would ask that Young not spill the entire container of red pepper on the pie.

I bet if you looked up key words over the years you’ve been doing this blog, “pizza” would appear most often.

    Curiously,
