Bellerophon Taming Pegasus

This is an entry about statues with no comments
The one time I visited Columbia was when I was going to The New School, also in Manhattan. When I was heading back downtown, I passed the law library and was stunned by the huge statue that was out of scale with the entire earth. It loomed and grew even as I walked away from it.
I don’t know why the statue of Bellerophon Taming Pegasus frightened me, but it did. It doesn’t even seem that big in photographs, but it was just wild in person.
If you live near it and can take a photo of yourself waving to it, that’d be keen, but no one has ever done that.
