A trip to Dr. Lesli Handmacher’s

Since you are reading this, you probably have eyes. But do you have an eye doctor? I do, and she is fantastic. Check out her groovy office:

Nothing says “I’m ok with you using that shoehorn-like device to move my eye out of the socket a little so you can inject something into my optic nerve” like this decor! You don’t get that at the cold clinical Site for Sore Eyes. (note: there was no shoehorn-like device used at any point in my exam.)
Dr. Lesli Handmacher checks everything three times, keeps fantastic notes and records, and is probably the most competent person to administer a thorough battery of tests designed to keep my eyes intense and blue. Side note: in the last seven years, my prescription has lessened and my eyes have become stronger. Injecting bull steroids into my retinas has finally paid off.

Here Dr. Lesli is looking into my soul.
Plus, when you are done you can buy cute cards at Twig & Fig and wish you worked the letterpress there. Also, you can pick up a half dozen cupcakes at Love at First Bite for people who had to cover your work since your eye exam took two hours (with dilation).
