Christmas 2005

December 28, 2005

This is an entry about Holidays with no comments

This year I traveled to Arizona to see N’s parents. It was fabulous. I ate too much of this concoction that tasted like a cloud from heaven mixed with pretzels, Crispix and clusters of goodness. Delicious x 2!!

  • I accepted the whole wheat body of Christ.
  • N’s sister “T” showed me how Rossberries grow wild in the desert:

On the flight home, during an intense game of travel Scrabble, I looked out the window and had a powerful spasm of déjà vu. I saw a large lake (the Salton Sea??) and then a little wave of memories came to me: of flying back from Boston in October 2004 with a blue soul, of a layover in Phoenix, flying over a lake and wondering “what is that big lake?/what is it like to live near it?/is it windy and cold?” And now, after spending five relaxed days (including eating Fritos on Christmas Eve) flying back to begin a new stage of my life, tears of joy ran down my face. Thank you everyone during 2005 who was just awesome to me.

I love Christmas.
