This seemed like a personal victory at the time, though I could never remember the specifics about SATA or that nonsense involving ribbon cables and types of hard drives. This lack of knowledge would later have horrific results when I took a short-lived job as a sys admin and had to fire myself. Holy shit: Active Directory blows!
